I am deeply grateful for the many teachers who have guided my journey, from the most unexpected to the most profound. Among them, my young son Silas Pearl, who has shown me wisdom beyond his years and teaches me daily about wonder, presence, and seeing the world with fresh eyes.
I’m honored to be a recipient of the Yu Qing Huang Lao Pi tradition, trained and mentored by Master of Classical Chinese Medicine, Ann Cecil-Sterman and her teacher, Jeffrey Yuen, 88th generation Daoist priest. This practice of Classical Chinese Medicine, a pre-Han Dynasty channel medicine, offers a heart-centered approach and profound clinical results.
Another significant teacher has been Dr. Gabor Maté, whose transformative Compassionate Inquiry training taught me to approach healing with curiosity- noticing judgements and projections as they surface and learning to release them - while deepening my understanding of how trauma lives in the body and how healing happens through compassionate presence and sacred witnessing.
